Bookhaven offers numerous complimentary services for our products. You will
find a number of services listed below that you or your company may wish to take
advantage of. We offer a number of FREE Services such as our
Federal Employee's Retirement Planning Guide, Retirement Journal, and Health
Awareness Forum and our book's
complimentary web sites provide FREE access to our readers,
site visitors, customers, and clients.
Advertising
- Banner and fixed ads on our web sites. You can also post jobs or product
display ads that are targeted to our customers needs. Numerous advertising

Federal Resume & KSA Writing Service
- Resume & KSA writing service for federal government jobs. We offer a
professional federal resume and KSA writing service for those seeking
federal employment and for active federal employees that are applying for
other positions in government. This service is one of the few that offers
personal contact with your assigned resume wrier by phone and email and they
have completed thousands of resume packages.
Retirement Planning Site
- FREE federal employees' retirement planning site. This site was
developed and is managed by a federal retiree with over 35 years government
experience. It provides abundant information for feds that are exploring
their options and planning their retirement. Numerous and helpful
downloadable forms, spreadsheets, and planning tools are available and
visitors can contact the editor direct if they have questions that aren't
addressed on the site.
- A Book
Review section was added last month and books of interest
for those approaching retirement are now being featured on this site.
Subjects include travel, exercise, finance, and health and everything in
between.
Health Awareness Forum
- A FREE column by Chuck Jumpeter on health issues. Many subjects
are addressed on this forum from wellness and nutrition to disease
prevention and exercise. Dennis Damp also contributes articles on areas of
interest.
Retirement Journal
- An insightful look into the author's personal federal retirement
journey. Hosted by Dennis V. Damp this journal covers everything from
pre-retirement preparation to what to expect along the way.
Web Site & Banner Design Service
- Bookhaven designs product webs sites, banners, and display ads for your
products and ads. This service is for companies that have products or
services that they want to present to our site visitors and don't have the
IT staff to create, manage, and host their sites. We also design banner and
display ads for our clients
Books purchased from Bookhaven Press LLC may be returned for credit or a
refund subject to the following conditions:
- All requests for returns must be made within 60 days of the
customer’s invoice or sales receipt.
- Any book returned must be in new and sellable condition.
Books returned with stamps, marks, stickers, etc., in/on the book will not
be accepted for credit or refund.
- Approval is required before returning the book. Contact
us for a RA# (return authorization number) at bookhaven@aol.com or
412-494-6926.
- There will be a 15% restocking fee on all returns.
- Refunds will be made to a customer in the form of the original payment
method within thirty-days, or a "Not Eligible for Credit" notice will be
sent with an explanation (e.g., no RA#, returned in non-sellable condition).
- Books returned without an RA# will not be accepted for a credit
or refund and will be returned to the customer upon request, at the
customer’s expense. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer,
and the original shipping and handling charge is nonrefundable.
- Requests to have book(s) returned back to you, must be made within
thirty-days of issuance of Bookhaven’s “Not Eligible for Credit” notice.
- Books damaged in transit are not the responsibility of Bookhaven
Press. Please make a claim with the carrier of delivery (i.e., UPS,
Lone Star, or USPS).
Return Shipping Instructions:
It is the customer’s responsibility to wrap and pack the book(s) in a
protective manner.
Shipping costs and tracking are the responsibility of the customer.
Books must be returned by an insured, traceable carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEX,
DHL). The customer is responsible for the return shipment until we receive it.
The RA# form must be enclosed with the book(s).
